Getting Me Elected Means
Getting Leadership & Honesty
Time for a new generation of leaders to step up!
The future of our children depends on a man that can commit to work for our district in congress. I am convinced Xavier Salinas is that man.
Xavier is an example of integrity and commitment to our communities. His only interest has always been to the people and is shown in his daily work.
His proven actions, leadership and continuos commitment for our community is exactly what we need in congress.
He has a proven track record that has convinced me he is the man for the job.
Xavier Salinas is a strong conservative and servant leader who is committed to God, Family and the Constitution. Since being elected to the Edinburg CISD Board, he has worked diligently, studying every issue facing the district and its impact on families. In addition to his role on the School Board, Salinas served as the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Weslaco ISD, and presently serves as the Assistant Superintendent.
Xavier has earned the respect of his colleagues, constituents, and the students he serves in fighting back regulations from Washington D.C. that are suffocating our education system. Xavier understands that our schools can be strong without wasteful spending. He has proven this through his accomplishments at Weslaco ISD. While working within the budget, Weslaco ISD has achieved “Recognized” status by the State for six consecutive years, which is unheard of for the region.
Xavier Salinas has also served his community when he was appointed to the Edinburg Zoning Board of Adjustments, where he worked with the community to cut red tape for business, and allowing the City of Edinburg to thrive. In the private sector, Salinas ran a successful social events center in South Texas. He understands that small businesses are the engine to providing job growth, and not wasteful government spending. It is through his combined experiences in education, politics, and business that Xavier Salinas has become an experienced leader with a long track record of success and a powerful vision for the future of his community.
Xavier is a native of Edinburg, Texas, and he is very proud of son of U.S. Army Veteran Alfredo, and his mother Lydia. Upon earning his degree, he began his educational career at Valley View ISD where he was a teacher and a coach.
